Bug Description

After fresh install I haven't sound in headphone jack, in laptop speakers all work. I know whats it's problem with ICH6 in soulution need and string in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
options snd-hda-intel model=z71v position_fix=1
(I have no idea why whis string apsond by default this problem old as mamonts.)
And after I have sound in headphones and speaker, I can select SPDIF or Analog output in gnome sound controll. But after this operation I have very bad quality sound from mic input, perhaps from line-in too.. but I can't test it. Many noise. Test in skype and with sound recorder. And now I have choice external speakers or mic.

On all version ubuntu and kubuntu and other linux based system I have this problem with headphones, but only in ubuntu have mic problem(I guess it's pulseaudio problem, other distros I used KDE without pulseaudio). Also only Mandriava 2006 work fine out of box with my sound card(yes, it's very old). And now I'm using ubuntu 10.10.
