Since upgrading to 10.10 my sound it intermittently skipping on playback.

Does installing the newest daily build of the sound driver resolve

The skipping is actually worse with the newest daily build.

What if you disable glitch-free by using tsched=0 in
/etc/pulse/default.pa (append it to the module-udev-detect line)?

I tried this and still had the skipping. I didn't notice any difference from when it was enabled.

Please attach verbose logs for both glitch-free (tsched=1, or just
omit tsched=0) and traditional (tsched=0) modes.

Too much of a posting newbie to mark this as a duplicate, but see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/658747. Appears the Natty "... kernel 2.6.36-020636-generic #201010210905. This appears to have eliminated the kslowdxxx problem and the audio hiccupping."
