This is an XtremeGamer right? If so, same problem here. The drivers just don't work. From what I can tell, the XtremeGamer is not really an X-Fi card, so the X-Fi drivers don't work.

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
