Bug Description

Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS

alsa-base:
  Installed: 1.0.22.1+dfsg-0ubuntu3
  Candidate: 1.0.22.1+dfsg-0ubuntu3
  Version table:
 *** 1.0.22.1+dfsg-0ubuntu3 0
        500 http://mu.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I had no sound on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS the !0.04.1 kinda fixed it.
I played some mp3 files (using the codec that Rhythmbox installed) but the sound was not of good quality (crackling) and low.
