I can't hear any sounds but Ubuntu detect normally my audio card

Bug Description

I have two devices for Audio
 Multimedia controller
  ATI Technologies Inc R700 Audio Device [Radeon HD 4000 Series]
  Subsystem: Dell Device 0413
I don't care ATI Device (Radeon HD 4000 Series), my problem is with Dell Device. Sounds preference detect 2 devices and sysinfo too, It doesn't matters if I turn off ATI divice because "the other device" don't make any sound.

Make sure you have the desired Connector dropdown selected in the
Output tab of Sound Preferences.

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
