Bug Description

I am not able to use my PCI sound card for a month now. The sound completely broke after hibernation. Yesterday i upgraded from Ubuntu 9.04 to Ubuntu 9.10 in hope that upgrade would fix the problem, but no luck. I tried virtually every troubleshooting guide on the net, and still nothing. I need someone with good knowledge to help me figure this thing out. I was told on irc support channel to file a bug. So here i am. I will attach alsa-info.sh output. Integrated sound card is still working, but my HT Omega Striker 7.1 (snd-cmipci, C-Media) is not since hibernation (It was the sound card used when went to hibernation). Here is lspci output.

Srdjan,

Thanks for reporting this bug. This is however not a translations bug, and I've assigned it to a more appropriate package.

In the meantime, you might find this documentation useful: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SoundTroubleshooting

David,

Thank you for the link. I have been over that troubleshooting guide several times. I tried everything except compiling driver from source. Sorry about posting bug in wrong section. I was not really sure where to post it.
