Bug Description
Binary package hint: pulseaudio
I am using Ubuntu 9.10 - the Karmic Koala and I have no sound at all. I the pulse audio control is shows that sound is playing but nothing is coming out of my speakers. I have a HP dv3, and according to all the test I've ran, my card is recognised and loaded.

Please use linux-alsa- driver- modules- $(uname -r) from ppa:ubuntu- audio-dev. A reboot is necessary.
