Bug Description

Binary package hint: alsa-base

I use Ubuntu 9.10 on a Sony Vaio S11C5E Laptop. According to system information the sound chip is an Intel HDA, the codec is Realtek ID 275. I tried to play sounds and in the Terminal I see that the sounds are played, but I don't here anything.
