Bug Description
The default microphone does not work in HP Mini 1000, that being Microphone 1 / Microphone (In "Sound Preferences / Connector ). There are 6 options there, but only the first two of them work. Connector "Line-In / Line-In" and "Line-In / Microphone". The other 4 options which would be the normal choices for a built-in microphone don't work.

Tested again in Maverick with a custom-made adapter for this type of connection.
There are two options: Line-In, Microphone.
- Line-In: works for the built-in microphone, does not get line signal from the single mic/headphone jack (probably on purpose... maybe it just doesn't belong on the Mini, or to use when only standard headphones are connected)
- Microphone: works with both the built-in microphone and the external one, with jack-sensing.
As there are now only 2 options and both seem to work as expected, I'm closing this bug as Fix Released.
