U9.10, i386. Sound card is in PCI slot, it is ForteMedia 801. There is sound card on the motherboard too but I don't use it.

Second. Sound preferences in Volume control has dialogue like this (INPUT):

Is this dialogue about two different devices with the same name? Is the same device listed twice? Very confusing...
BTW, audio was working in Ubuntu 8.04.3 on the same PC fine; at least much better compared with U9.10. I observed similar issues in FC11 before.
