Bug Description

I have a SoundBlaster card that worked in Breezy but does not work in Dapper (a fresh install from Flight 3).

The module (snd_emu10k1) loads automatically, but the only related line in kern.log is:
gameport: EMU10K1 is pci0000:02:00.1/gameport0, io 0xce98, speed 1104kHz

Here's what it says when I try to run alsamixer:
ALSA lib simple.c:952:(simple_add1) helem (MIXER,'Front Playback Volume',0,0,0) appears twice or more

alsamixer: function snd_mixer_load failed: Invalid argument

This seems to have been fixed, perhaps in the latest kernel update. I still can't get it to send audio on the digital out, but that's likely an issue that can be solved via randomly twiddling controls in the mixer.
