2024-05-14 05:08:16 Launchpad Janitor alsa-driver (Ubuntu): status New Confirmed
2024-05-14 13:03:11 Matthieu Dufour description The speakers seem to suffer from a distinct latency problem, where whenever I play something (it can be a YouTube or Reddit video, in Firefox, but also the test sound samples in settings), nothing comes out for the first 1-2 seconds, then I hear a distinct "click" sound coming from the (first left, then right) speakers, then the sound plays normally. It's as if the speaker where in "sleep mode," and whenever I play something, they first need to wake up and starts playing the actual sound. Did not happened on other distros (Debian 12 or Fedora 39).
