Bug Description
Really wanted to switch to Ubuntu but there are always some problems. It's frustrating. Now, sound doesn't work again (after it fixed itself previously for no apparent reason). It just starts playing and literally dies out immediately (fades into silence with weird sound distortion). Please help.

I've tried all the usual "remedies" posted online but nothing fixes this besides a making the sound work for about 2 seconds before it dies again. Restart and reinstall alsa/pulse audio, check sound volume blah etc. this is simply a prevalent bug and none of these "fixes" will actually help.
