[USB-Audio - Blue Microphones, recording] No sound at all

The microphone is recognised, but there is no sound coming out of it. Whenever I unplug and replug the microphone, it starts working as intended again. It is very impractical to have to do this each time I have to reboot.
I am using Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS.
