Bug Description
The speaker used to work fine but the internal microphone was not showing in Settings -> Sound -> Input.
I tried to purge alsa.
$ sudo apt-get remove --purge alsa-base pulseaudio
and then reinstall it
$ sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop alsa-base pulseaudio
After that even output sound is not working.it is showing "Dummy Output" in Settings -> Sound -> Output.
After that i run this command
$ cat /proc/asound/cards
it is showing "--- no soundcards ---"
