[HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cd0xx, Realtek ALC295, Mic, Internal] Recording has crackling sound

Whether I record with aux earbuds(with mics) or the internal mic I hear crackling with each sound. I tried using this https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/PositionReporting but with no success. What should I do?
