Bug Description
I'm using a ThinkPad X230. Ever since the upgrade to 16.04 Ubuntu GNOME, I will have intermittent sound failure both through internal speakers and headphones. Everything will be fine, I won't play anything for a while, and when I try to play something new, there is no audio.
I've confirmed that the audio is not muted. I tried "killall pulseaudio; rm -r ~/.config/pulse/* ; rm -r ~/.pulse*" then "pulseaudio -k" and while it restored sound when my headphones are plugged it, the internal speakers are not restored.
