Bug Description

My laptop is a ASUS F3F

You can just hear static noise with internal mic. The external microphone works fine.

The problem continues in Kubuntu hardy alpha 4, updated to 2008-02-16.

Linux portatil 2.6.24-8-generic #1 SMP Thu Feb 14 20:40:45 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux

linux-ubuntu-modules 2.6.24-8 and alsa-drivers 1.0.16 are installed.

I attach the new information again.

intrepid alpha 4 with alsa 1.0.17 work fine! It detects front mic and internal mic.
