If could be useful I have found a workaround for this issue. I hope it is usefull to understand better the problem.
I have an Asus n550JV with ALC668, quad array speaker and subwoofer; I have a dual boot with windows 8.1 and ubuntu14.04 LTS.
If I disable the audio card from windows (by device manager) and restart I have fully working audio on ubuntu.
I write a script which enable and disable audio on windows start and restart event. Please tell me if are useful more alsa or details and log
