Bug Description
After updating to the 3.13.0-30-generic kernel sound has stopped working. DMESG gives numerous errors about unknow symbols and disagreeing about version of symbol while loading the snd_hda_codec.
Reverting to a previous kernel (3.13.0-29-generic) restores sound.
