Sound comes out of right speaker but not left. [N150P/N210P/N220P, Realtek ALC269, Speaker, Internal] Playback problem

Sound is fine out of the right side of my laptop. It isn't coming through to the left.

My laptop can play in stereo if I am using external speakers plugged into the headphone output.

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 32-bit
