HI,

I am completely lost. I have installed Ubuntu 14.04 and got no audio output. I can view video but no audio output is recieved.

What is the value of front playback volume in alsamixer?

There is no headphone playback volume, gree lineout and headphone jack have to share volume control since the other two audio outputs are used for surround, center/clfe

It is strange that dB range is 115 as dB of...

The alternative is to disable multi channel support by hint multio=0 to get back headphone volume control

Headphone connect to node 0x0e with headphone playback volume instead of sharing node 0x0c with line out
