Bug Description

I have problems with the sound card. Every 29/30 sec a droppout is heard. This is happening when playing mp3 files but also avi files. It's quite annoying because i think i have the drivers installed correctly.

Thanks for any help you might provide.

same problem, same machine but have run 14.04 since it came out and have updated 2 times per week

i tried using proprietory nvdia drivers, just ripped my screen, now using gallium 0.4 and putting up with the sound annoyance

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
