Bug Description

The sound stopped part way through a track. I had had some problems earlier with tracks being autoselected but not playing (it's on random track selection)

This box was built a few years ago and I bought what was then pretty well
top of the range Sound card and 4.1 surround sound speakers (INSPIRE 4.1)
can't pull it out to check, but would guess YES

Didn't see mono was selected... could be my son playing games on the box

you have to select surround40 since creative speaker only have green and black jacks , the subwoofer has the hardware volume control knob

here's a log, it misbehaved a bit (songs not starting) but didn't crash
like before. I'll run again next time I have a long session and see if we
can reproduce
