Bug Description

I have no sound in my xubuntu. After installation it was working like a charm, but now after maybe some update it doesn't work. It is not hardware problem, because it is still working on Windows.

Please close the bug. I've fixed it by adding:
options snd-hda-intel model=generic
to:
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
