Bug Description

Brand new homebuilt
AMD64 XL "Black" edition 3.8 GHz Quad-Core
Geforce 610 1024 DDR3 RAM
MSI 970A[A | S]-G46 Mainboard
4GB Patriot RAM
125 GB SSD

Booted off previously installed ubuntu-studio 13.04 that is experiencing "dropped to login screen" crash (NVIDIA/Ubuntu known issue) intermittently
Apport troubleshooter appeared while playing a .mov file using xine - no issues with video playback, but absolutely no audio.

to be fair, user is attempting to configure jack with a firewire device so no audio in this case was, while unfortunate, not completely unexpected.

Thank you for having such great software that reports bugs so proactively!
