Bug Description

I did a fresh install of Raring and used my internal mic successfully. But I installed updates today and now my mic isn't working at all. I've checked the alsamixer and unmuted everything and still nothing from the mic. Any ideas? Is there anyway to reset my audio subsystem?

OK, I fixed it finally by installing the PulseAudio Volume Control and re-selecting the internal mic as the input and then rebooting. I guess this can serve as a good workaround for now. This problem seems to occur after resuming from standby.

Thanks for updating the bug report, but I'm not sure what to do with the provided information - are these settings I need to configure somewhere?
