Acer Aspire One 722-C62kk with 12.04 LTS 32 bit

Tried updating 12.04 and also with 3.5 kernel.

I have sound, but external microphone doesn't work.

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AspireOne722

http://bernaerts.dyndns.org/linux/251-ubuntu-precise-acer-ao722

If I use the alsamixer + alsactl store + alsactl restore trick the system hangs at restart (with 3.2 and 3.5 kernels).
