Bug Description
Binary package hint: alpine
Due to a broken autoconfiguration, version 1.0 (specifically, 1.0+dfsg-3) of alpine fails to build with support for GSSAPI.
This was fixed in the 1.10 release of alpine, which has since been superseded by version 2.0 in Intrepid and later.
The patch is minimal, and only affects configure.ac. It changes the GSSAPI detection to...well.
Reproducing this bug requires access to a krb5-capable mail server, and valid Kerberos tickets. Using the version in Hardy, configure alpine to use that krb5-capable server (in my case, I set the "Inbox path" field to "{po15.
I have tested that the attached patch builds, installs, and fixes the bug on my amd64 system.
I don't believe that the likelihood of regression is very high. Enabling GSSAPI simply adds another SASL mechanism to numerous mechanisms that were already available; it doesn't enable drastically different code paths.

Looks reasonable to me (and it builds); Approved and I'll sponsor the upload too.
