Bug Description

When I try to view a PDF attachment in Alpine, I get "don't know how to display application pdf" error.

I have application/pdf lines in both /etc/mailcap and ~/.mailcap

I have tried setting the mailcap path in alpine's settings to each of those. Neither works (nor does leaving it blank).

I expect evince to get launched when I try to view a PDF attachment.

The following line works for me on 12.04.1:

application/pdf; /usr/bin/evince '%s'; test=test -n "$DISPLAY"; description=Portable Document Format; nametemplate=%s.pdf

Had to add it manually, though (see #876703).
