alacarte crashed with AttributeError in split(): 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'rfind'

Bug Description

Oneiric a3 i386 & logged as gnome-classic

how it have happened:
- right click on Applications to tweak the menu
- select Applications from the dialog box
- wanted to erase an entry: vmware ace folder, but does not be removed

on other cases some deprecated entries cant be removed but dont get crash each time.
