Bug Description

Binary package hint: alacarte

I try to open "Applications," but nothing happens other than the usual brown "you have this highlighted" box appears. The drop-down menu certainly never appears. Then I try to open "Edit menus," and a box comes up telling me an application has crashed, and I submit this report.
