Bug Description

Thanks for updating alacarte - its good to be able to use it again.

System:
Xubuntu 12.10_x64

Alacarte:
  Installed: 3.5.5-0ubuntu1.1
  Candidate: 3.5.5-0ubuntu1.1
  Version table:
 *** 3.5.5-0ubuntu1.1 0
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     3.5.5-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://mirror.team-cymru.org/ubuntu/ quantal/universe amd64 Packages

Expected to happen:
The ability to edit the menu catergories and place them into a desired order.

What happened instead:
The Wine and Electronics categories 'jumped' to the top of Applications Menu list after editing the menu with alacarte 3.5.5-0ubuntu1.1. Alacarte does not show these two categories in its editor and there is no way to move them to a new (original) position. However, the new category created ('Complex Systems') was editable and can be moved where desired. It's as if alacarte doesn't 'see' certain menu entries.

It appears that the two categories of concern, 'Wine' and 'Electronics', have all of their application items listed in the 'Other' category, if this provides a clue.

Have the same thing, wine as the top category in the Applications Menu but not seen by alacarte 3.5.5-0ubuntu1.1. and its application items listed in alacarte Other category. Happened just after installing wine. Other categories are editable. Looked into ~/.config/menus/xfce-applications.menu and there is no "wine" to be found. Xubuntu 12.10 i386, almost fresh install.
