akregator crashes if menu bar style is not in the application

As the bug title says, configuring KDE to put application menus with other option different than in the application makes Akregator crash.
I had the button in title style and Akregator kept crashing. After searching on the Internet I found this thread in Arch Linux forums: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=226889

The error messages are the same I have seen from Akregator in my machine.

Changing to the menu bar style "in application" as suggested in that forum solves the issue.
