Bug Description
I'm using Kubuntu 14.04.2 and I am having trouble removing the MySQL package because akonadi-server depends on akonadi-
I can't just change akonadi to use SQLite because I still can't remove the akonadi-
Thanks.

What's the actual problem with mysql? We only depend on mysql-server-core, which is only the core data files, not the actual system service. So if you use a different akonadi backend you won't have a running mysql server, just the files lying around.
