Bug Description

When starting a new Freecell game, Aisleriot does not show the game number (the seed value from which the card layout was generated.)

All other Freecell games on all platforms I've tried do this, so that you can record when you lose a game and retry it later, exchange hard games with your friends and so on. This includes Win32 Freecell, Windows 7 Freecell, the 3rd party Freecell Plus, the Mac OS X Freecell by the late Alisdair McDiarmid of http://randomoracle.org/ and so on.

This is not a bug but a feature request, but I can't find any author or any direct contact for the team to report it. This is the only way I know, I'm afraid.

Associated functionality: enter a game number to retry a previous game, as opposed to just getting a new random game every time.

At https://mail.gnome.org/archives/games-list/2007-February/msg00017.html, apparently a patch to support this has been created by Bastien-F Jonathan.
