Minimizing Aisleriot does not pause the game under Wayland

Bug Description
under unity, "minimizing" the window stops the game clock.
under gnome, its does NOT.
there should be a way to stop the clock and continue later.

This looks like it is due to the stricter environment used by Wayland which is the new default display server in Ubuntu 17.10.
As a workaround, log out. Click your name on the login screen then click the gear button. Choose 'Ubuntu on Xorg' and then enter your password to log into the traditional display server instead of Wayland.
