airmon-ng freezes all the system and it give me a black screen

Bug Description
When I run sudo airmon-ng or airmon-ng start eth1, it shows a black screen. I can't take a screenshot of it or copy it and can't type anything using the keyboard. I tried re-installing but got the same result. I also tried re-installing Ubuntu. I can't even switch screen or try any shortcuts to remove the black screen. btw I run ubuntu 13.04
