Bug Description

Binary package hint: adobe-flashplugin

The "adobe-flashplugin" package in Canonical's repository does not provide the 32-bit plugin wrapping behavior provided by the "flashplugin-nonfree" package in the multiverse repository. For this reason, the package is not available as a 64-bit binary. I would suggest an enhancement which borrows/steals the functionality of "flashplugin-nonfree" which allows installation on 64-bit distributions.

It really should be added, also for jaunty. The latest version can be found here:

The multiverse package (for jaunty) seems to be behind on the recent security update: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/403825

We aren't yet allowed to distribute the 64 bit plugin. As soon as we can, we will jump on it.
