Bug Description
Binary package hint: adium-theme-ubuntu
In themes "Blue" or "Clean" there is no problem. But in the theme "ubuntu" (which is the default) the text is rendered incorrectly. There are two problems with it:
* text is displayed from left to right (align: left)
* text is displayed as LTR (direction: left)
The first problem is not as bad as the second one. The second one means that if there is any punctuation marks at the end of the message, it will come at the beginning of the message, instead of end.
To see the problem for yourself, use this simple test, which means "Hello!":
سلام!
Just send it as a message in chat and see how it appears in the window. Compare the case of "ubuntu" theme with the "Clean" or "Blue" theme. In "ubuntu" theme, the exclamation mark comes at the right of the word (incorrect). In the "Clean" or "Blue" themes, the exclamation mark comes at the left of the word (correct).
You know, when the language is right-to-left, it means that the end of the line is the left-most side. So the exclamation mark must come at the left of the sentence.
