Adept cannot initialize KDE frontend

when I install some packages using adept, this is what I see in details:

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

dpkg-preconfigure: cannot connect to X server :0.0
debconf: unable to initialize frontend: Kde
debconf: (DISPLAY problem?)
debconf: falling back to frontend: Dialog

Do you still get this error on Edgy final or on Feisty?

I have moved to Feisty Fawn (herd 5 at the moment), and I have no more this error message. The only "strange" message I see in adept details is this one at the beginning:
DESTROY created new reference to dead object ' Qt::VBoxLayout', <> line 15 during global destruction.

Using Feisty Beta this error message is still present without any change.
Quite annoying for installs that require some interactivity.

Yesterday I did not get the dialog, so I had to cancel installation of sun-java and finally did it via aptitude.
Today it seems to work fine, though ; the error message doesn't appear any longer...

Bug 129604 seems a more complete description of this problem in Gutsy. So I'll mark this as duplicate.
