Binary package hint: adept
"adept --dist-upgrade" seems not to exist.
How to upgrade from kubuntu x.xx to 9.04alpha? Is there any way doing it or have I revert to CD/DVD upgrade?

Run update-notifier-kde -d. I assume that instructions will be placed on the website closer to 9.04's release.
