adept search is not presenting all results

Binary package hint: adept

I'm trying to search for some plasmoids on adept package manager and when I type "plasmoid" I only get the plasmoid-quickaccess package. I found this strange and typed "apt-cache search plasmoid" on the console, which got me this:

Now this is more like it, but adept doesn't seem to find them.

Using kubuntu 8.10 with kde 4.1.3

Searching for "plasmoid-cpuload" on adept doesn't show any result either

Are you sure you don't have any of the filters set?

I get a lot of results for "plasmoid" in Adept

Does running "sudo update-apt-xapian-index" give you more results?

All filters were ok..."sudo update-apt-xapian-index" solved the problem....thanks
