Bug Description
Binary package hint: adept
After a fresh installation of Kubuntu Gutsy (during which no network was available), I wanted to change the repository configuration in Adept. I wanted to enable the Internet mirrors, so I enabled them in Adept->Manage Repositories. However, it didn't load the package description from the Internet (no download bar), and the number of packages available was still low (< 1000 packages). But absolutely no error message was displayed. After a while trying again and again, I ran "aptitude update" from the command line, which told me « Cannot resolve archive.ubuntu.com ». Of course, my Internet setup was not correct: I had an IP, but no DNS configuration. I think Adept could handle such a failure and display an error box.
