Could not open cache - Adept Manager

Bug Description

Binary package hint: adept-manager

After run upgrades in Kubuntu 7.10 Tribe 3 I receive a error message that I cann't take note, Then I try to run Adept Manager and get the following error message.

"The APT Database could not be opened! This may be caused by incorrect APT configuration or some similar problem. Try running apt-setup and apt-get update in terminal and see if it helps to resolve the problem."

I'm confirming this bug with adept version 2.1.2ubuntu28
apt-get/aptitude both work, just not adept

Fixed with Adept 2.1.3. It was a duplicate of 121456, but I don't why it was still open.
