Binary package hint: adept

Been using Gutsy for a while now. I clicked full upgrade, and it crashed while it was setting up the new packages. Backtrace-

Packages finished setting up with no additional problems after running dpkg --configure -a

Gary,

have you had any further problems installing updates on gutsy since this crash occurred? Obviously since Gutsy is changing quite rapidly it makes it difficult to reproduce these issues.

Sometimes it still crashes. Though like you said, it's hard to reproduce.

It looks like a duplicate of 108286, already known in Feisty. To better debug this, I suggest you to follow the procedure https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash. Thanks for your report.
