Bug Description

Binary package hint: adept

Yesterday I installed Enlightenment, the desktop environment, and today I decided to uninstall it. I wanted to uninstall the package along with any configuration files and what not so I selected purging in adept. I did this for every Enlightenment package that I had installed.

When I committed the change, adept started to uninstal Kubuntu-desktop and all the kde apps. That is very annoying.

Adept should have a feature where it warns that user if purging a package will affect another package that is installed/used, like kubuntu-desktop. Then give the user the choice to continue with the purge or cancel it.

I have to go reinstall Kubuntu-desktop now....

I'm confirming that adept does not explicitly warn the user, e.g. by using a popup (see synaptic).
