Bug Description

Binary package hint: adduser

The manpage for adduser says the following:

Add an existing user to an existing group
If called with two non-option arguments, adduser will add an existing user to an existing group.

While this is true, it will also remove any users who are already in that group. This is counter-intuitive and very unhelpful!

It may be that this only occurs when the user is coming from an LDAP source rather than the local passwd file
