After (manually) removing the "images" remote from LXD it seems it's now working again

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

same experience, to solve:

* Remove the images: repository
* delete the local client.crt (~/.config/lxc/client.crt)
* do an adapt run again

Weird error though, I think it shouldn't happen.
