Bug Description

In Files & Applications, after clicking "Clear Usage Data..." and choosing to clear all data, control returned to the main window but it became unresponsive with heavy disc activity, which is still going several minutes later. I was able to click the "+" button on the Exclude list which may have aggrevated the situation, after showing an unresponsive pop-up menu (folder/application selection) it eventually displayed a blank window showing "Select Application", which remained blank and eventually closed. Several minutes (at least 5) later, still with disc thrashing, the window remains unresponsive and occasionally turns grey. I'll comment if it eventually becomes responsive again or if I decide to kill it.

Killed the process after a runtime of 23 minutes, disc activity stopped immediately. Re-launched and re-cleared the history, everything was responding normally, except about 15-30 seconds later the window froze again with heavy disc activity. Killed it and tried again and the hang appears to occur several seconds after choosing to clear history - I clicked on a tick box every second or so until it stopped responding.
